It’s been hurting for a few months on and off. Is it the way I’m sleeping? I try pain relievers but it doesn’t do much.

I hated chiropracters, as a matter of fact, I thought they were quacks. I went to see one and the pain I had in my neck for several months was relieved in 2 visits. A readjustment worked! Now I try only using ONE pillow and rub my muscles before I lay my head down at night.
If you’re having body aches after you sleep, you might need a new mattress. Just a thought. Also, taking a warm bath or shower can sometimes help with stiffness.
even if it was because of your sleeping, it’s passed that point now;; you should know better than to wait this long before you get it checked out;; I say 3 days, it’s a doc visit;; the longer the symptoms, the harder to treat;; now, the “stiffness” in both your neck & shoulder already state that there is muscle imbalance, & frankly, tissue takes 6 wks to heal, so, yeah, your in trouble @ this point;; you’ve got to incorporate stretches, but you really need much more;; get to the doc, get a diagnosis (cuz this MAY involve more than just your muscles), get treatment, ask for PT…good luck!!
