Am curious about your evidence for your claim that massage hangover caused by release of metabolic wastes from dissolving trigger points.
I find it implausible, a massage myth. Blood still flows to and from trigger point affected muscles, metabolic wastes are constantly being removed from all cells of body.
Whilst I agree with your conclusions for avoiding ‘massage hangover’ feel that the cause is much more likely due to drainage of the lymphatic system than release of metabolic waste to blood.
